Scales of Justice: Latest cases in Oxford Magistrates’ Court

LINARD AINSONS, 24, of Green Road, Headington, admitted driving a Vauxhall Vivaro van in Bartlemas Close, Oxford, on December 2 last year while over the cannabis drug driving limit and whilst uninsured. He was fined £250, banned from driving for a year and must pay a £34 victim surcharge.

TRAVASS PAPE, 24, of no fixed address, was jailed for four weeks after he pleaded guilty to breaching a non molestation order by going to a property in Shrivenham.

KYLE FINE, 35, of Prunus Close, Oxford, admitted drink driving a BMW in Sandy Lane on May 8. Tests showed he had 70mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath. He was fined £400, banned from driving for three years and must pay £125 in costs and surcharge.

ROBERT IND, 74, of Abingdon Road, Oxford, pleaded guilty to breaching the terms of his sex offender notification requirements by failing to register a new bank card within three days of acquiring it. He received a three-month conditional discharge.

MICHAEL BLAIR, 50, of Thornbridge Avenue, Birmingham, admitted drink driving a VW Polo on the M40 near Banbury last December. He was slightly over the limit, with tests showing he had 92mgs of alcohol in 100ml of blood – with the legal limit being 80. He was fined £315, ordered to pay £119 in costs and surcharge and was banned from driving for a year.

DANIEL WEBB, 39, care of Lock Way, Drayton, received a six month conditional discharge for theft by finding. He stole a parcel containing a pair of Vivo barefoot shoes in Oxford on January 10. He must pay £40 in costs.

RHYS REYNOLDSON, 20, of Arkell Avenue, Carterton, admitted driving a Nissan Qashqai on Tower Hill, Witney, while over the cannabis drug driving limit last November, driving without a licence or insurance, and obstructing a police constable. He was fined £900, banned from driving for a year and must pay £175 in costs and surcharge.

CURTIS COYLE, 30, of Osborne Close, Kidlington, pleaded guilty to drink driving an Audi A4 in Worcester Street, Oxford. He was almost twice the drink-drive limit, blowing 67mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath. He was fined £230, banned from the roads for three years and ordered to pay £119 in costs and surcharge.

DANIEL WADE, 34, of Abbotts Lane, Coventry, admitted breaching a restraining order by going to a property in Banbury in May and damaging the front door. He was jailed for a year.

EMMA COX, 33, of Bonar Road, Oxford, stole a set of keys on August 15 last year in Wood Farm, Oxford. She admitted theft by finding and was fined £90 and ordered to pay £74 in costs and surcharge.ALEXANDER BIGNELL, 31, of Prescott Avenue, Banbury, pleaded guilty to possession of a single wrap of crack cocaine. He was fined £120 and ordered to pay £119 in costs and surcharge.
