A hairdressing salon which has been in Witney for 30 years has won a top business award.
Two’s Company Hair and Beauty on Church Green was nominated in the South East category of Englands Business Awards.
Covering all of the counties of the South East the winners can go on to compete in the national grand final in Birmingham in November.
Owner Alan Heritage said: “The results were based on client feedback and votes, mystery shoppers and conversations with the organisers. We got down to the last few salons and were invited to the final in Guildford last week where incredibly we won.
“It was just rewards for years of dedication and hard work.”
The award was collected by Toby Gregory and Tayah Mansell.
Two’s Company, which has a modern interior inside a Victorian house with a walled garden, has five full-time stylists, four part-time stylists, three apprentices and two receptionists.
Mr Heritage said: “We are now in our 31st year as Two’s Company and I genuinely think we won because as a team we go that extra mile. Regular clients have returned for years but new clients get looked after just the same.
“Everyone needs to have a great hair service that is profesional, welcoming and relaxed and everyone here is on board with that ethos.
“I want clients to have a happy, positive experience and hopefully they want to return.”
He added: “I also think the position of the salon is fantastic as we have a great view on to Church Green.”
